I just got back from Japan and had no idea ...my first visit in 43 yrs. Many dots (re)connected. Thanks to J20 and Akasan. I'm definitely ready to return for a longer stay, knowing that beyond family there are more good connections in the making.♥

25:08 Although i sympathize with Akasan, fans who easily get offended over their comics' superheros being disrespected, probably don't have the mental wherewithal to actively hunt down Akasan in Japan like some wacky assassin in Kill Bill. That said, it is a cautionary tale to react with tact without offending too many fans that may end up hurting a channel, granted reactors like Tyrone Magnus (nearing 2M subs) seem to balance his craft of speaking his mind and pissing off legions of fan bases. There is in fact a large niche market for spouting unpopular opinions. Akasan is gifted interviewer in his own right.

One 0 two point seven... Kiss FM? I can't believe i still remember after nearly three decades. Is that the radio station Akasan worked at? Literally the hottest station in Los Angeles back then, along with Power 106. Great interview J.

So awesome to learn more about the reactors like Akasan, who are so fun to watch.

One of the cool things as a black viewer is see so many people of color reacting to things like Star Wars, Invincible and Dune. I’m 42, and as a kid, being a black nerd into things like anime, comics and scifi was rough. You were always the odd guy out. So its just great to see.
